It’s Oh Happy Plant Bath!
This product is magic in a bottle. Not only will it clean your leaves, it just so happens to take care of many of the problems plants experience as they transition from grower to home environment.
What is it?
Oh Happy Plant Bath is a silicone-based foliage cleaner. It is nontoxic to humans and pets when used as directed.
What does it do?
It cleans your leaves! It will remove dust, dirt, grease, and hard water deposits from leaves. It even repels dust! Our favorite use, though, is to ease the sometimes tough transition between greenhouse and home environment.
How should I use it?
Simply measure and mix with water in your own spray bottle, then spray on the plant until it runs off. Spray front and back of leaves, as well as trunk and soil surface. Then just give the plant a gentle shake to knock excess off and let it dry!
How is it packaged?
This product comes in a 4oz bottle of concentrated formula or a 16oz ready-to-use sprayer. For the concentrate, simply mix in your own spray bottle. One bottle of concentrate makes 8 to 16 quarts of product (16 to 32 refills of our sprayer), depending on how much shine you want on the leaves. And hey! You can re-use the cute blue glass bottle for propagation!
What else do I need to know?
Do not mix at a rate stronger than 1oz/quart of water, as this may burn your plant. As a precaution, avoid product pooling up on leaves. Product is silicone-based and very slippery on hard surfaces, so be sure to use a washable drop cloth or wash the floor or tub when you’re finished. It’s also a great idea to wear gloves when using this product, as it can have a drying effect on skin.
And we know that you already know this, but: Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not drink product or get it in your eyes. Be sure to read all warnings on product label.

Oh Happy Plant Bath is NOT a pesticide and is sold as a foliage cleaner only. User accepts all responsibility for off-label use of the product.
Do not use this product where spray may land on streams, fish tanks, or other otherwise come in contact with aquatic or amphibious animals. Do not use on plants fully or partially immersed in fish tanks. Like any soap-based product, Plant Bath can have an effect on aquatic animals’ slime coat.
For sensitive and/or expensive plants, dilute product to 1/4 to 1/2 oz per quart water and do a spot test on one leaf first. Also, if applying product more frequently than every 14 days, rinse plant with plain water before each application after the first.
Please note that we have tested this extensively on common houseplants at the recommended 1/2oz per quart strength with no known issues, but we haven’t tried it on every plant in the world. If in doubt, do a spot test 🙂
