Mustard meal info guide – Provides useful information as well as application rates. Please read this prior to using mustard on your plants!
Habitat Blends (Bog Witch, Rainforest, and Original)
NOTE: Shell fish allergen – Bog Witch contains oyster shell. Please avoid use if you’re highly allergic to shellfish.
When mixing your own soil, use 1/4 cup per gallon of soil. Can be used in addition to other products – will not burn plants! For top dressing, simply sprinkle on soil surface and mix in, then water. Best if used every 3-4 months. Top dressing rates:
1/2 TB per 4″ pot
2 TB per 6″ pot
3-4 TB per 8″ pot
6-8 TB per 10″ pot
Please note: Bog Witch is designed for your cranky plants and fusspots, Rainforest for your rainforest floor plants, and Original for any plant that needs a soil refresher 🙂 Please note: the mycorrhizal inoculant will cause ‘fluff’ to grow on the surface of the soil. This is a beneficial fungi and great for your plants!
TURBO Habitat Blend
This one is a bit different – turbocharged with twice the goodies! For new soil mixes, use 1/2 cup per gallon of soil. For top-dressing, use the amounts in the table below. Simply mix into the soil surface and water in. Will not burn plants. Best if re-applied every 3 months. Please note: the mycorrhizal inoculant will cause ‘fluff’ to grow on the surface of the soil. This is a beneficial fungi and great for your plants!

1/2 cup per 8″ pot
1 cup per 10″ pot
Bug Shit
Use 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil, or make a tea by soaking 1 tablespoon in 1 gallon of water for 24 hours. Can be used in addition to other products – will not burn plants! For top dressing, simply sprinkle on soil surface and mix in, then water. Best if used every 2-3 months. Top dressing rates:
1/4 TB per 4″ pot
1/2 TB per 6″ pot
1 TB per 8″ pot
2 TB per 10″ pot
Kelp
